The electoral division of Santa Christina is the Georgeland House of Commons seat containing the central business district of that city. The seat has a changing demographic - when created in 1958, it was distinctly affluent, and in the early 1960s a redistribution added more working-class voters. The population has again become more affluent over time, with some parts of the seat resting in the wealthy Weston and Cobble Court neighbourhoods today.
