This wide range of rugged hills runs for several miles east and west of Polisberg. As one goes south, the hills rise higher and higher until they become the Grey Mountains. The twin peaks of Ettinhead jut out midway between the coastal plain and the mountains, and the mining and logging community of Firhill sits at their feet on the northeast side. Much of the hills are covered in trees, and the Sylwood Forest starts on the western slopes.
