Ever since the days of the first Kihane during the era of the First and Second Shinobi World Wars, a select handful of Kihane clan members were able to utilize the Flora Release kekkei genkai. This made the Kihane powerful allies and adversaries alike during the great wars, able to use the plants around them as their weapons. However, the Kihane clan was considered peaceful, and only a few fought, until the Fourth Shinobi World War.
