Raymond Sheppard (born 27 May, 1966 in Petawawa, Ontario, Canada) is a retired professional right winger who played in the NHL from 1987 to 2000. Sheppard was selected 60th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. He decided to stay with the junior Cornwall Royals of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for two more seasons. In 1985-86 he led the OHL in goals with 81 and in points with 142, winning the Red Tilson Trophy as the most valuable player. He made the NHL All-Rookie team in 1987-88 with the Sabres.
