All, The 'change email' command is back again. This will be used for part of an automated system to email you a new passphrase if you forget or typo yours. That automated system is not yet in place but hopefully it will be soon. I suggest if you ever have needed an imm to reset your password, that you immediately make use of this feature. You can see what it is currently set to by typing just 'change email' with no arguments.

That automated system is not yet in place but hopefully it will be soon. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY APPROVED WAY TO GET YOUR PASSWORD RESET BY THE GAME. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO ENTER AN EMAIL AND LOSE OR FORGET YOUR PASSWORD YOU WILL INTENTIONALLY BE MADE TO WAIT AT LEAST TWO WEEKS BEFORE AN IMMORTAL WILL RESET IT FOR YOU MANUALLY. IN ADDITION WE WILL HAVE TO USE WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY TO ENSURE IT IS REALLY YOUR CHARACTER, WHICH MAY MAKE IT TAKE LONGER DEPENDING ON VARIOUS FACTORS. Note that we will absolutely do our best to safeguard your email, and we will absolutely not publish or provide the information to anyone except a law enforcement or government agency or similar situation where we either see fit to do so or are required by law to do so. However of course no security mechanism is foolproof, but as I said we will do our best to safeguard it with the same efforts we safeguard the rest of the game.
