Carlos Alberto Reutemann (born April 12, 1942) is a former Argentine Formula One racing driver who competed in the sport from 1972 until 1982. After concluding his Formula One career, Reutemann has moved into Argentine Politics where he was elected as Governor of Santa Fe in 1985, a position he held until 1995. In 1999 he was re-elected as Governor of Santa Fe and held the position until 2003. Since 2003, Reutemann has been a Senator in the Argentine Legislative. He has been regularly been requested to run for the Presidency of Argentina but on all accounts has rejected the proposals.

He competed at the Rally Argentina twice, finishing third both times. He also drove car #1 at the latter. He, along with Finn Leo Kinnunen, are the only Formula One drivers to finish on a WRC podium.
