- Deflection is a spell that is members only released with the Mysterious Spellbook. It also came with a new boss section in the God Wars Dungeon, Lord Shadowcore's lair. To cast a player must be in the Zaros Lair and must have 68 Magic. To cast, a player needs 2 Body Runes, 6 Air Runes and 4 Chaos Runes. When cast, a player gets +10 in all defensive stats. This spell grants 98 Magic Xp.
- The user is capable of deflecting attacks, normally projectiles or blunt force, away from themselves. While usually a defensive method, it can be utilized as offensive with efficient calculation.
- Deflection is a single player Armor Nanosuit Module that provides double protection against damage. Unlike Armor Enhance, it drains energy at a normal rate when running or idle.

The abilities are deflected away from Ishi, but this shield can weaken when under a lot of pressure, and the ability can also be neutralised itself by an immunity or by shielding. As Ishi also has the ability of advanced empathy, the two abilities have combined meaning that she automatically deflects empathic abilities, and cannot consciously deactivate this effect.
