A workplace adds to your pay check. There are 3 Workplaces and 3 Shops. There are two ways to take money out of a Workplace. One way is to go into the yellow zone and stay there for an extra pay check, the other way is to buy the Workplace. Workplace and Shop 1 cost 10k, 2 = 20k, 3 = 30k. The more expensive workplaces dish out better cash. There is one more, not so common, way to get money from a workplace. You will need to buy a worker from outside the vehicle shop and have him stand in the yellow workplace zone. The downside to this, is you have to regularly collect payments from him. You also can't make money standing in the Shops. You must buy them.

  • Changes in nature of work lead to changes in workplaces. Creative and complex work requires appropriate stimulating setting, while the freedom of future workless society means that a workplace must be exciting and attractive. Some modern examples are: * Mindlab at the Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs in Copenhagen, Denmark [1] * Volkswagen Transparent Factory [2] * BMW Leipzig Plant [3] (cool video) * Red Bull’s London office [4] * Google's Googleplex [5]
