The FTM33 features a completely new asymmetrical body, which was designed with input from Thordendal. It has the basic shape and balance of a Destroyer, but with the rounded edges and curves of a Firebrand, and a lower horn reminiscent of an Iceman. The control knobs are arranged in a layout identical to that of a Gibson Flying V (the later version, with the larger pickguard). The shape has been dubbed the Stoneman.
