William Henry Peruzzi Gibson (1870 - 9 August 1959) was a solicitor who was briefly a member of the London County Council during World War One. Gibson had a legal practice at Portugal Street Buildings, Lincoln's Inn. He died in Ealing in 1959, aged 89.

abstract	William Henry Peruzzi Gibson (1870 - 9 August 1959) was a solicitor who was briefly a member of the London County Council during World War One. Gibson had a legal practice at Portugal Street Buildings, Lincoln's Inn. Under wartime legislation, the council were permitted to co-opt eligible people to fill casual vacancies instead of holding by-elections. Following a vacancy in the representation of the Battersea and Clapham, Clapham electoral division, Gibson, who was a resident of Clapham Common Northside, was co-opted to the council as on 7 December 1915. He sat as a Municipal Reform Party councillor although the two main parties on the council (the other being the opposition Progressive Party) effectively formed a coalition during the conflict. When elections resumed in 1919 he did not defend his seat. He died in Ealing in 1959, aged 89.
