The VodleQ class was a type of heavy cruiser fielded by the Klingon Empire during the 24th century. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 3: Ships of the Klingon Empire) The VodleQ was a joint project between the House of HIQal and Starfleet's Advanced Starship Design Bureau and utilised several designs and systems that were developed for Starfleet's Akira-class heavy cruiser. It had a Starfleet influenced wedge-shaped forward hull that was connected at the aft by a thick spar to the secondary hull. From the secondary hull's aft dorsal side were a pair of wing pylons that held the ship's nacelles. This gave the ship a mix of Federation and Klingon design aesthetics.
