A name of caves yielding riches, treasure and danger, located in the fiefs of House Urbish; a trap for heroes who pillaged dungeons. Few people came back, and those insane, diseased or undead. Vaelan of the Sidari (4-5 generations ago) descended the Mouth of Ruin. He was given up for dead but 7 years later he returned well and rich. He did not reveal his secret, and repeated his journeys each time returning with more treasure. For not revealing the secret to tame the monsters, he was murdered by his own people.

After Vaelan's murder, the Laird of the House descended and came back the other day scared out of his wits. When he recovered he founded the Urbish Mining Company and striped the upper levels of the Mines. Greedy people came to work for him, resulting in the diverse population of Gladstone. After the mining began, the House suffered disaster and fell after three generations. Many miners disappeared or went deeper in the mine and turned into monsters haunting the surrounding woods. Last year monsters invaded the mines but Dwight stayed behind to finish the monthly tool inventory hiding under the desk and eating stale biscuits.
