On April 1, 2001, Wizards of the Coast published a fake update to twin strike. There appear to be multiple instances of the fake update:
* One fake update changed twin strike's damage to 1, or 2 at 21st level, and replaced the flavor text with "If the first attack doesn't kill it, the second one probably won't either."
* As of now, this update has the first attack inflict 1[W]+Ability modifier damage, and if that attack hits, a secondary attack on the same target doing the same amount of damage. This change causes the power to be slightly more powerful than the scout's dual weapon attack. The flavor text is "If the first attack doesn't kill it, the second attack will at least hit it". [1][2]
