The Empire of the Elves, or the Elven Empire, otherwise known as the Alvyri Vandryl by the Elves, was the largest empire in the history of Esria. Initial settlements of the civilisation were founded in -670 D.E, and grew to span the entirety of the Arcadian archipelago at the height of its reign. Made up of multiple kingdoms swearing fealty to a centralised authority, many old ruins could be found within the territories it once ruled. From the murals and scriptures left inside of these structures, scholars of the Common Era were able to decipher and understand life as it was before the fall of the Empire in 381 A.E.

Initial settlements of the civilisation were founded in -670 D.E, and grew to span the entirety of the Arcadian archipelago at the height of its reign. Made up of multiple kingdoms swearing fealty to a centralised authority, many old ruins could be found within the territories it once ruled. From the murals and scriptures left inside of these structures, scholars of the Common Era were able to decipher and understand life as it was before the fall of the Empire in 381 A.E. It was inhabited almost entirely by the Elves of Elyn Vandryl, one of the first settlements to appear on the Arcadian Heartland near the inland sea named the Meire Hethynama, or the Sea of Life. The wars of expansion fought to extend the authority of the Alvyri Vandryl were not recorded, but it is known that they succeded in bringing under their dominion the Kingdoms of Drosh and Calavyr. After the destruction of the land by the Fire Ritual of Londorwyn, the Alvyri Vandryl became extinct overnight. The territories and kingdoms that had once been part of the empire were all destroyed, and life was smothered. It did not creep back in until centuries later, and even then it did so with a magical nature. Successor states of the Alvyri Vandryl included the Kingdom of Drosh, the Kingdom of Yndria, the Kingdoms of Kehill and Lebury, and to some degree the colony of Guedos.
