The team fields the #51 ToyotaCare/Dollar General Toyota Tundra for Kyle Busch and Erik Jones and the #54 ToyotaCare Toyota Tundra for Darrell Wallace, Jr.. KBM was founded after Busch purchased the remaining assets of Xpress Motorsports from J.B. Scott in late 2009. He had competed in the truck series for the 2008 and 2009 seasons driving for Billy Ballew Motorsports with Miccosukee Indian Gaming as his primary sponsor, and had split the ride with Ickler his last year there. The Miccosukee sponsorship was to carry over to Busch's primary truck as part of an agreement with Phoenix Racing, but on February 7 Miccosukee pulled out of NASCAR altogether leaving Busch's team and Phoenix's Cup and Nationwide series teams without sponsorship. On February 9, KBM announced that the number 18 Toyota will be sponsored by the Heluva Good brand food made by Crowley Foods. He signed Malsam away from Randy Moss Motorsports after Malsam's rookie year, where he finished second in series Rookie of the Year standings to former Cup and Busch/Nationwide driver Johnny Sauter.
