Of all the news to come out of the reborn Light's Reach, one curious fact is causing a mixed reaction among those who are Shadow Touched - namely, that Light's Reach voids Shadow magic. To some this is exciting news, as it means that - while within the city - they can live just like normal people, free of the shackles of their curse, at least for a little while. To those that do not want to lose their powers, however, and have remained unmarked as they covet the darkness of secrecy, the temporary severance of their connection to the Shadow is daunting indeed.
