| - Sustainablisation (or sustainablization) is the coming period of social and economic change that will transform human groups from an industrial society to a sustainable society. It is a part of a global sustainable development process, where ecological enhancement, social change and economic transformation are closely related with green and smart technological innovation, particularly with the development of renewable energy systems, zero waste programmes, sustainable water systems and biodiversity rich and robust areas. It will include the extensive re-organisation of the global economy for the purpose of protecting social and ecological systems, in particular food and drink production. Sustainablisation is also introducing a form of philosophical change where societies gain a different attitude to their perception of nature (accommodating it as opposed to competing with it) and a sociological progression towards a symbiotic relationship with the planet. As the education in sustainability of the labour force rises, markets for sustainable goods and services of all kinds are envisaged to expand and provide a further stimulus to sustainable investment and sustainable economic growth. There has yet to be a first country to sustainablise but some have made inroads into the process in the early 21st century. By the mid-21st century, it is envisaged all regions and economies of the world will have completed the process of sustainablisation. See Industry.
