Pek Rankin was a Balawai man who lived in Haruun Kal during the Clone Wars. One night, the Korunnai destroyed a entire Balawai village, but Pek and few survivors were able to get away. During the escape, they lost five children: Terrel Nakay, Pell, Keela, Urno, and Nykl. Rankin led the group that finally found them, but before they could reunite with the children, they were attacked by Kar Vastor and his Akk Guards. He did not survive.
