Max is a fictional character who appeared in the Hogan's Heroes episode, Colonel Klink's Secret Weapon. He was played by Sidney Clute. Max was a member of the German Underground who as local deliveryman would occasionally bring supplies to Stalag 13, secretly exchanging messages with Colonel Hogan in a similar manner as fellow Underground member and camp dog handler Oscar Schnitzer. It was during one of these visits that Hogan learned from Max that Lt. Bigelow, a "guest" who was supposed to have left the camp through an underground tunnel to rendezvous with Max's unit, had failed to emerge, indicating he must have been caught when the tunnel caved in and was still trapped in there.
