The Lionist Society of the Sun is the political wing of the Crimson Crusade of the Sacred Feline Heart. It was founded in the 7:th of September, 3248, by refugees from the toppled Selucian Union of Imperial Crusader Kingdoms in Pontesi (Pontesi), though it's not an ethnic party and welcomes anyone loyal to Barmenia. It's core values are based on Christian Felinism and many of it's members belong to the Selucian Catholic Church, though it's still a non-confessional statist/social-ish conservative party. It however, officialy recognizes Pontesi to be Selucian land, and actively works for freedom in Pontesi.

  • The Lionist Society of the Sun is the political wing of the Crimson Crusade of the Sacred Feline Heart. It was founded in the 7:th of September, 3248, by refugees from the toppled Selucian Union of Imperial Crusader Kingdoms in Pontesi (Pontesi), though it's not an ethnic party and welcomes anyone loyal to Barmenia. It's core values are based on Christian Felinism and many of it's members belong to the Selucian Catholic Church, though it's still a non-confessional statist/social-ish conservative party. It however, officialy recognizes Pontesi to be Selucian land, and actively works for freedom in Pontesi. The Party itself is "secular", and religious arguments are at least not considered authoriative by the party leadership. This is shunned in practice, as the party leadership consist of fundamentalist selucian catholics, who would not allow any agnostic and especialy no "soulless" atheist on a high postion in their party. The society's political views are just like it's preccedors, based on christian democracy, a right-wing federalist and nationalist ideology, though many of the market liberal principles of christian democracy has been discarded for a less ideologicaly orthodox center-left position, to contrast the extremely neoliberal Libertarian Alliance of Cats. However, unlike it's preccedors, the society bases it's political teachings on lionist values. Lionism is a sect of felinism considered heretical by orthodox felinists, as it focuses it's worship on the Lion Emperor (Azaeran) and not the Bastet the Cat Goddess of Fertility, who is however hounoured as "Queen of the Moon". Lionism is the belief that feline species are not only descendants of the Moon, but also by the Lion Emperor (Azaeran) that lives in the Sun and reveals himself to all the peoples of Terra each day. It's ethics and morality differ, somethimes gravely, from orthodox felinism, and has more of an elitistic and individualistic character. Lionism is centered around the Blessings of the Sun, a form of “elitist” individualism, obedience to the rightful authorities and compassion to those in need without self destructiveness. To many followers, the Lion Emperor and the Christian God are the same.
