Greater Arkania is a vast land compromising of 3 main regions. Each regions has its own sub regions, and its own system of government which are then joined together by the peoples council which rules all of greater Arkania. The peoples council has little say in the inner running of the country and is basically there to handle foreign affairs. The council is made up of two houses, the lower house is elected by the people, while the upper council is elected by region. The coucil then electes a lord protector to act as the executive. Greater Arkania has no official capital, but the coucil sits in a city constructed where the borders of all three regions join. The monetary unit is the arkan. The region of Arkan is made up of 50+ sub regions which correspond to tribal ancestory in the region. Its government mirrors than of the peoples council. Its capital is Arkan, named after a great war hero. The region of Sabotai is made up of 2 sub regions after a long civil war each sub region is ruled by a seperate king but the sub regions agreed to be represeted in the peoples council as one. Its capital is Narazir. The region of Deassasi is like the region of arkan in its sub regions, but is ruled by a dictatorship. It has recently reduced its commitment to the peoples council and now represents itself in foreign affairs. There are growing fears of a civil war in the region. Its capital is Filarez. The current lord protector is Arkan. He has been the lord protector of Greater Arkania since its joining together. Before that he was the lord protector of Arkan.
