General Barad-Dur was within two systems of Coruscant, when he clashed with General Ni-Ni, Commanding General of the Galactic Alliances military. The battle was at a standstill for four hours, neither side able to gain the advantage. General Ni-Ni called a truce and asked for terms. Barad-Dur arrived, and Ni-Ni killed him. The Confederation of Banking Clans fled the battle, and were never able to regain the initiative during the War.
