Skewer of Krintiz is a unique Sabre, from Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. At first, the Skewer of Krintiz' stats may seem lackluster. However, it does indeed have some useful bonuses, most notable is its ability to ignore the target's Defense. This makes the user much more likely to hit an opponent. This does not necessarily mean that a character will always hit its target, but it will increase their chances quite a bit, especially due to its fair boost to Dexterity, and therefore Attack Rating.

However, it does indeed have some useful bonuses, most notable is its ability to ignore the target's Defense. This makes the user much more likely to hit an opponent. This does not necessarily mean that a character will always hit its target, but it will increase their chances quite a bit, especially due to its fair boost to Dexterity, and therefore Attack Rating. Compounding on this ability, the Skewer of Krintiz also gives its user mana leech; which is much more effective, since the Skewer of Krintiz generally hits often. Characters who have combat skills that require mana, yet rarely have a large amount of Energy, would certainly find this mana leech more useful. Despite these bonuses, the Skewer is still a low-level item, and the damage it dishes out is simply too low compared to most unique exceptional, elite, or even high level Normal Items. Perhaps useful in the early Acts of Normal difficulty, the Skewer of Krintiz is not often used later in game.
