The Denver Capital District (DCD) is a special district which is not subordinate to any state, located in the center of Rio Blanco. It was established in 1878, after being separated from Yuma. While being the smallest of the 11 first-order subdivisions, it is also the most populated, just ahead of Salt Lake.
