The Pelora were a sentient Near-Human species from the planet of Pelorum, a world they shared with the blue-skinned Chi'kari. They were rare outside of their homeworld but were easily identified by their striking blue eyes and silver-white hair. Their language, Pelorak was described by many as sounding like the cracking of ice. They often wore reflective armour and wielded swords made from Peloran Quartz, a crystal that was described as ice like in appearance and being icy-cold to the touch, when worn as armour it could render the wearer almost invisible, it was also one of few lightsaber-resistant materials in existence.
