Lucifer(VDM152) was born in the Drie Doring on December 9, 2010. His mother was the dominant female Mist and his father was Bramley or a rover from the Frisky. He was born in a litter of four, his litter-mates were Jesus Christ (VDF150), Mohammed (VDM151) and VDP153. All three pups survived their first few weeks and started foraging with the adults. Sadly in the following month VDP153 was predated.However being the dominant female's pups, Lucifer and his two remaining siblings were the main focus of the mob and Lucifer would need all the help he could get to survive. Lucifer was born with a condition that made his fur and claws appear bright ginger in colour, unlike the general brown-colour of regular meerkats. Lucifer's condition made him stand out more to predators against the dunes and grass of the Kalahari. Despite his condition, Lucifer was cared for by his small family and survived his first year. However, not long after reaching maturity Lucifer mysteriously disappeared. He was considered Last Seen in February 2012.
