Xius Xarn was a Jedi Master operating out of the Jedi Temple on Aargonar. He was the founder of the Sith Corps, a Jedi organization tasked with hunting and eliminating Sith and other Dark side individuals, and therefore also the head of the Aargonar Temple. For the first twenty years of his life, he was singled out to be trained by Alto Kist, a Master famed for his maverick behavior as well as his near-Sith tendencies. Kist was a former Anzati Assassin and his Anzat background was evident in his apprentice.

abstract	Xius Xarn was a Jedi Master operating out of the Jedi Temple on Aargonar. He was the founder of the Sith Corps, a Jedi organization tasked with hunting and eliminating Sith and other Dark side individuals, and therefore also the head of the Aargonar Temple. For the first twenty years of his life, he was singled out to be trained by Alto Kist, a Master famed for his maverick behavior as well as his near-Sith tendencies. Kist was a former Anzati Assassin and his Anzat background was evident in his apprentice. Prior to the establishment of the Temple of Aargonar, Xius was known for his dogged pursuit of his fallen Master. Citing the futility of the Jedi Order to act, Kist had left the Order after dueling his apprentice on the steps of the Temple on Coruscant. The duel left Xarn with a trademark scar over his eye and a personal vendetta against the Sith that few could match. Due to similarities between his master and him, Xarn was often criticized for his unorthodox training methods and his borderline Sith ideology, a lasting gift from his Master. Xarn was greatly lauded for his martial prowess. Even 3000 years after his Death, his tactics were still being utilized by the Jedi and the Republic Military. His lasting legacy to the galaxy was the establishment of the Sith Corps, a group who'd influence the Jedi order for millennia after Xarn's death. Xarn was also a known sufferer of Ka'alian Tarhand, an affliction which turned the afflicted hand absolutely black and causing it to secrete a fatal and incurable poison which Xarn kept covered in a black glove which made the poison ineffective to the rest of his body and stopped the condition from spreading. Despite this precaution, the disease was killing Xarn slowly due to its internal metastasizing which began before Xarn could acquire his special glove.
