The Bristling Boar is the only inn in Wendeford in Ruddlestone. "The bar is dark and musty but the clientel seem friendly enough", and the landlady enjoys a good gossip. The inn is named after a monstrous Wild Boar which lived in the Forest of Lein and terrorised the nearby hamlets and farmsteads.
