PERSONAL LIFE Kapoor fell in love with a roman catholic italian girl PRUDENCE D'SOUZA & married her, Kapoor then changed her name to ARTI KAPOOR, The couple has one son ANAND KAPOOR , problems arose in the form of a long illness which got hold of his wife and she was diagnosed with a heart condition which took her from bad to worse, kapoor did all he could to keep his wife alive but putting down every peny he ever owned but in the end she lost the battle to her heart condition and she passed away one fateful morning of october the 5th 1993. kapoor never married again he lives alone with his son who is a film producer and is producing 2 films which his father is directing which are supposed to hit screens by 2014.
