The Anti-barrel rifle was a weapon used early on in the Second Great War. Both the United States and the Confederate States used them. Anti-barrel rifles were .50 calibre (12.7mm). While they couldn't penetrate the front armor of a barrel, they could penetrate its weaker side and rear armor.
