About: +die   Sponge Permalink

An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.org associated with source dataset(s)

Syntax: * +die * +die/pool * +die/lump +die ends your character. Type it and die. It will check for confirmation, though, because we aren't as evil as we could be. THIS NOW DEFAULTS TO +die/pool. To use lump-sum +die, type +die/lump instead. Syntax 3, +die/lump, is the old default +die. It will give you a lump sum of 70% of earned experience. You will not get anything more. But you will get it all at once. We discourage this option because we think it's less fun; but it will remain available for several months until we remove it.

  • Syntax: * +die * +die/pool * +die/lump +die ends your character. Type it and die. It will check for confirmation, though, because we aren't as evil as we could be. THIS NOW DEFAULTS TO +die/pool. To use lump-sum +die, type +die/lump instead. Syntax 2, +die/pool, does not restore any experience on death. You start at newbie levels. However, you are guaranteed to earn back all the XP you lost from a special 'death pool': if you died after gaining 33 levels, you have 3300 experience in your death pool. If you earn 100 XP normally in a week, you will earn 300 from your death pool (the formula is based on 100 + 2x earned), for a total of 400 XP earned in that week; the more RP and the more active you are, the faster you will advance on the second time around. Syntax 3, +die/lump, is the old default +die. It will give you a lump sum of 70% of earned experience. You will not get anything more. But you will get it all at once. We discourage this option because we think it's less fun; but it will remain available for several months until we remove it.
