As the cult death/thrash/black metal band Vomit dissolved, they evolved into the punk band Børre & Bløderne (Børre and the Haemophiliacs). Later they attempted to resurrect Vomit, but with a new name: Kvikksølvguttene (The Mercury/Quicksilver Boys). This was a pun on the name of the famous Norwegian boy choir Sølvguttene (the Silver Boys). Kittil Kittelsen played bass in Vomit, but switched to guitar in Kvikksølvguttene, and Necrobutcher became their new bassist. Vomit - and thus by extension Kvikksølvguttene - is considered to be one of the very first proper death metal bands in Norway.

| - As the cult death/thrash/black metal band Vomit dissolved, they evolved into the punk band Børre & Bløderne (Børre and the Haemophiliacs). Kvikksølvguttene consisted of Necrobutcher, Kittil Kittilsen and Torben Grue. All of them have been or still is involved with one of the world's most controversial black metal bands, Mayhem. Kvikksølvguttene's producer Ole Petter Andreassen was also involved in the project as a session guitarist, under the name Ztalin. Necrobutcher is the only Kvikksølvguttene member still active in the metal scene. Kittilsen is now a christian fundamentalist, and warns people about black metal and even rock and pop music in general. Grue is still in the music-business, and is now a trained opera singer. The band released one EP and one full-length album. The drummer Det Skal Du Drite I mentioned in the credits of the Krieg album does not exist, it was a joke from the band's side.
