| - Can somebory explain to me why the whole Main Page and some parts of the other pages are with the Aurebesh language? And how can I change this, the most fast? —Unsigned comment by Lucas22 (talk • contribs).
* I'm not sure. - The Most Fast 11:52 ATWIBTCAT, April 1, 2008.
* Because Wookieepedia is supposed to resemble an in-universe encyclopedia, it was decided that we should switch over to Aurebesh—which as you know is the alphabet all Basic text in the Star Wars universe is written in—effective April 1st, board time. The main page was the first to be changed, and we hope to get around to the other pages within the week. Hope that helps. - Lord Hydronium 00:54, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* With no CT, no vote of any kind? Why wasn't I informed of this? Am I not in the right circles? I mean, I'm an admin! You have no right to do this, Hydro! Graestan(Talk) 00:58, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* Why CT something that would be an obvious landslide? I mean, it's canon - we deal in canon, thus, canon language. WP:BOLD and all. 01:00, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* Look, I'm not going to lie: I know Aurebesh just fine. But plenty of younger Star Wars fans simply don't. We can't mislead them in this way. And Roman letters appear in plenty of Star Wars canon—why not use the alphabet that plenty of fans use outside of their hobby, also? I'm dead serious: this has to stop. Graestan(Talk) 01:03, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* Awww, I think it livens things up. It could take a while to get around to all the pages but, that would just be awesome. Shadowtrooper talk 01:16, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* That's why Kyle Katarn created bots ;) 01:22, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* While not as impressive as Katarnipedia, I find 2008's attempt at wikimadness refreshing. And actually interesting to see so much text in Aurebesh, now that I look at it. Good one, gang! --Revan Averre 01:20, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* I agree with Greastan. This is supposed to be an encyclopeida of everything Star Wars not a fan site. Please take the Aurebesh off. Now. I've been a Star Wars fan all my life and I can't even read Aurebesh. The switch is just stupid.--Jedi Kasra 01:39, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* Just to let you all know, I'm probably going to leave the site over this. You've gone too far. We are supposed to be a user-friendly tool for the Star Wars fan community. Instead, what we get is a bureaucratic nightmare run by an administration that is a rotten construct. There is a cabal, and I am obviously out of the loop. I wish I hadn't wasted these hundreds of hours working towards an ideal that doesn't really exist. Graestan(Talk) 01:48, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* I know how to settle this: a Blue ribbon committee to investigate which is more preferable: Aurebesh or English! -- SFH 02:00, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* This is just more bureaucratic nonsense, while SFH pulls the wool over our eyes. Since when have the results of CTs even mattered? No, I'm going to have to go ahead and say that most of what Karen Traviss posted about us way back when was correct. There really is no such thing as democracy on a wiki where those who shout loudest are the only ones heard. Instruction creep? Please. Like the rules are even followed to begin with: administrators do what they please, when it pleases them. This whole wiki is a cruel joke, a complete farce, and I have simply had enough. Graestan(Talk) 02:09, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* O.K. What's a CT and a SFH?--Jedi Kasra 02:14, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* A CT is when a bunch of users and admins argue over and vote on policies which never end up being enacted. SFH is an administrator. He welcomes new users a lot, and apparently has a more nefarious function which I have yet to discern. I seem to notice that those who aren't in his favor tend to be somewhat quieter in terms of the site's function. This is just another of the many reasons anyone in their right mind shouldn't join this site, if they know what's good for them. I still can't believe I've put up with it as long as I have. Graestan(Talk) 02:19, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* You know what, Grae? I've had it up to here (I'm pointing at my forehead; you can't see it literally) with your dissent and disapproval. You hat it so much, you can leave. Period. Stop whining about this so-called travesty, and just deal with it. Also, consider this RFRU a special treat. 02:23, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* Well, it looks like you have two weeks before the RFRU closes before I am fully silenced. I plan to use this time wisely, informing the users you and other underground admins who run the site without community input or approval have duped into doing all the legwork for you, writing FAs, copy-editing copious amounts of hyperinclusionistic nonsense, and feeding you cookies to keep themselves from being banned outright. You should be ashamed of yourself, Jorrel. I know plenty about what your true role on Wookieepedia has been. Graestan(Talk) 02:27, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* You just don't get it, do you? The RFRU is just a formality. You've been placed on the dynamic list of vandals who need blocked - it's only a matter of time before one of the other, more user-friendly admins gets a hold of you. Also, TINC. 02:31, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* Guys, calm down! I'm sure this is all a joke, albeit an extremely cruel one. It's useless to make accusations, however false or true.--Jedi Kasra 02:36, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* You may have banned me, but you cannot silence me forever, Jorrel. I won't forget this. The more you tighten your grip, the more users will slip through your fingers! 70.237.231.14 02:38, 1 April 2008 (UTC) (Graestan)
* Wait, how'd they not get your IP? I mean, just went out and complained about you too... jeez. 02:41, 1 April 2008 (UTC) Hang on. I dont remember complaining about anyone. As a matter of fact, I happen to agree with Graestan that the language should have remained in english. How can any fan that CAN'T read Aurebesh understand the changed pages? I'd have to learn a whole new written language just to read articals!! It's changing a wiki - something designed for people to look up information, whether in a fictitious universe or not, into a site only those who can read Auguresh can use! what's the point?Darth Xadún 11:44, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

* Your IP has been noted and banned, Graestan. Wikia personnel in suits will be arriving at your door within the day to deal with you. Atarumaster88 File:Jedi Order.svg (Talk page) 02:43, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* You think this is some sort of hilarious joke, don't you, Ataru? Or, shall I say… SFH! 70.237.231.14 02:47, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* He is not SFH, I am SFH! And my other nefarious purpose was this: to reveal to you all that all Imperial, Rebellion, and New Republic era works made by Del Rey was part of an elaborate conspiracy to retcon the EU into a prelude to the New Jedi Order era!...Then I started focusing on undoing this proposed belief that KOTOR is "greatest thing...ever" is nothing but a shame! Then I went and raved about how Legacy was just an elaborate redo of the Prequel trilogy...Now I just welcome people to build up my own army and overthrow the wiki! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!I also work at other wikis when I'm not here. I like to spread my interests. --SFH 03:10, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* Well done, gents. When I realized what day it was, I hurried over...you did not disappoint. --SoT Holonet of the Hand 07:48, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
* This is hilarious. Nice job guys. Chack Jadson (Talk) 21:35, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
