The Ticonderoga-class Cruiser was developed when the Loris Empire (then known as the Loris Alliance) realized that heavy destroyers had taken a forefront in their navy. When the Loris Alliance went to war with the Empire they saw that the only thing breaching the gap between the destroyers and the frigates was a small number of Strike Cruisers and Dreadnaughts.   • The Ticonderoga-class Cruiser was developed when the Loris Empire (then known as the Loris Alliance) realized that heavy destroyers had taken a forefront in their navy. When the Loris Alliance went to war with the Empire they saw that the only thing breaching the gap between the destroyers and the frigates was a small number of Strike Cruisers and Dreadnaughts. The Titan's crew of engineers realized that they wouldn't always be close to home, so they began to build a cruiser that they could replicate time and time again. This resulted in the Ticonderoga-class Cruiser. The Loris Navy soon realized the potential of the cruiser and began producing this new warship to become the backbone of the defense fleet. The ship would become so successful that two variants of it would be developed; the Ticonderoga A, and the Ticonderoga D.
