The Flight Data Recorder is a key item in Dead Rising 3: Operation Broken Eagle. It is one of two key items that Adam Kane must picked up from the crashed helicopter wreckage during the mission Locate Precious Cargo. The data recorder, otherwise known as the "black box" contains important information about Kane's mission to find the President. He is later ordered to destroy the black box to get rid of incriminating evidence, but Kane refuses.
