The Grunt rank is the 6th lowest rank of the Sploder Community Forums. Users who are Grunts cannot create discussions and are restricted to seeing the General, Basic Training and Bugs boards. (We will try to obtain more information on the permissions of this rank in the future). Getting ranked down to Grunt can be from spamming, flaming, or BBCode abuse. This rank is perfectly similar to the Outcast rank, except it lacks the sign above the user's Avatar, which signifies that they were an Outcast. The name origin for Grunt has no significant meaning for real Military ranks, unlike most of the forum. It is commonly used in the military and police to describe a low-ranking soldier or policeperson.
