A Property Tax is a policy where citizens are taxed based on the value of their homes. This tax brings in money based on the GDP of the country. It's favored by Socialists for the positive impact it has on Equality but is opposed by Capitalists, the Retired, the Wealthy, and Middle Income earners, especially since it cuts into both Middle Earnings and High Earnings.
