Aki Tsunaki (つなきあき, born December 12, 1959 in the Kumamoto Prefecture) is the pseudonym for an independent freelance Japanese animator and character designer. He graduated from Tokyo Designer Gakuin College and entered the anime industry during his twenties. Tsunaki has been a freelancer since he was 23 and often provides animation or direction for a variety of projects. The majority of his work can be seen in TYO Animations (formerly Yumeta Company) projects. His illustrations for the TV anime, Harukanaru Toki no Nakade Hachiyoushou, were used for one of his exhibitions.
