General elections were held in Kalopia on 2 February 4095. They were held to elect the 450 members of the Grand and General Council (Meclis), which in turn elects the President of Kalopia. They were the first multi-party elections in the country since the ones held in 4058. The ruling Motherland Party (AP) of President Binali Kırmızıgül had liberalized the Kalopian political system since the early 4090s, and announced in 4093 that opposition parties would be allowed to contest the next elections.
