Titanees also known as a Titany, are enemies in EarthBound Beginnings and Mother 3 resembling scorpions. They are capable of using Hypnosis α, but it doesn't work very often. In EarthBound Beginnings, they appear outside of Youngtown and in the swamp. They have a high attack power and outstanding defense for that point in the game, but can be defeated with a decent PSI attack or a SMAAAASH, as those can bypass its defense. In Mother 3, they are found in the Mt. Oriander canyon in Chapter 1: Night of the Funeral, and they are pretty fast, so are a little hard to outrun. Its battle sound is Battle Sound 13 which is used for all Titanies and falls under Code Numbers 475 for regular attack, 476 for Smaaaash! and 477 for Miss.
