Barbarossa Anasazi was a member of the now nearly extinct Kodiak Pride. He was the father of Tyr Anasazi. Very little is known about Barbarossa other than that he was considered to be a genetic reincarnation of a venerable past Kodiak Alpha. Due to the statistical improbability of genetic reincarnation, Tyr modified that it was a very close reincarnation. Barbarossa and his wife, Victoria, were both casualties of the surprise attack on the Kodiak's orbital habitat orchestrated by the Drago-Kazov as a means of reacquiring the sacred remains of Nietzschean progenitor Drago Museveni.
