Whale Island (くじら島, Kujira Shima) is the hometown of Gon Freecss, one of the main protagonists of Hunter × Hunter. Ging Freecss and his cousin Mito Freecss were both born and raised there as well. It is largely visited as a small port for fishermen, with few actual residents living there. Gon and Noko are the only known children living on the island as of now.
