The Jabber Nut is an item from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. It is found in the Barrel House on the east side of the Minish Village. The Jabber Nut allows whoever eats it to understand the language of the Minish. Although it is not explicitly mentioned, it is possible that alongside allowing him to understand the Minish language, the Jabber Nut also provided him with the ability to understand the language of animals while Minish-sized, as he can do so in-game.
