Cafe La Gringe is owned by Mrs. Theodora Gringe and is located on the oppasite side of the North Gate Gatehouse. It is a self-service restaurant with pots of stew kept warm over a small fire. It's menu consists of brown stew, dark brown stew and very dark brown stew. The Egg-On-Toast Restaurant Guide rated it one star.
