Mark (マークMāku) is the protagonist and playable character in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life and Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition. Mark is a young man who decides to take over his father's farm after his death. His father's friend, Takakura sent a letter to Mark requesting that he come to Forget-Me-Not-Valley. Although Mark doesn't know much about farming, Takakura agrees to help run the farm alongside Mark.
