The 37th Storm Unit was created in 21XX to oversee particularly troublesome operations, ones that required much greater skill and experience than others. The 37th was originally composed of the best Maverick Hunters of other units. However, it later expanded to include some promising new recruits, replacing those who died in combat. Ironfist Manticor was a soldier in this unit for many years before going Maverick. When he recovered, he rejoined the unit. (Note: Anybody who creates their own characters can put them in this unit!
