Norio Yamanaka(山中 典士Yamanaka Norio, born in 1928 in Shiga prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese teacher of kitsuke, "art of wearing kimono", an advocator of every-day use of kimono and the founder and chairman of the Sōdō Kimono Academy, the first kimono-wearing academy in Japan. He has written several books on kimono and travelled to tens of countries to speak about kimono.
