That Oshenna Lew Taste (Oceana for The Oceana Lion Organization) was a political movement founded by Hurbanovan Ermania Kovalic in 1913. The group wanted autonomy for Oceana and recognition of language and culture. It grew in popularity in the 1910s, and held many rallies in Hurbanova and Oceana. After several petitions to the government were not fully accepted, the Oshenna Lew Taste disbanded (around 1922).
