Fat Larry was one of Frank Pentangeli's men in the Mariposa family, before joining Pentangeli to side with the Corleones. He, along with Fausto and a couple of other men, shot up one of Giuseppe Mariposa's gambling joints during the conflict between Mariposa and Vito Corleone.
