Lisa Mei Yuan is the wife of Geming Chu, and the mother of Anna Chu. She is a Muggle who lives in Little Wuyi, San Francisco, California. In August 2009, she and her daughter witnessed Geming's arrest in their own home by agents of the Confederation under the pretenses of the newly-enacted WODAMND Act. When Anna returned to Charmbridge for the 2009-2010 schoolyear, Lisa went to live with her own mother and father.
